    @ TLW that’s a match

    For the device I like Madness’ hint – perhaps this may help:

    1 2 3 4 5 6

    @Pandarran, I really hope this works!

    MD5 of plaintext (just the letters!) followed by KFORDACADEMY:

    @Kford-academy – Thats a match

    @TLW There was always going to be one – thats why I had to mention that it was the standard version

    Is no-one understanding my KA2020-3 puzzle? (That’s the heavily mathematical one, at post #52929.) If anyone wants help multipling matrices, try this link: https://www.mathsisfun.com/algebra/matrix-calculator.html

    Here are some individual hints for each question. Each word has been reversed, so do not decrypt this if you do not want a hint. You can find the tool I used here: http://textreverser.com/ (on the Reverse Words setting)

    Okay, I have developed another cipher. I have no idea if it is solvable due to the use of a mixed alphabet here and there, but it would definitely represent a challenge to all. I can help, though, by saying that cryptii.com has a tool that can solve it. I have hints ready to go, so anyone with cipher experience under their belt, do tell me if it impossible at the moment, and I will give a clue.

    Some of the puctuation may help, but for an MD5 do it in full capitals with no punctuation or spaces.

    [I think this might be a bit tricky for that length of text! Harry]

    @Mattyrat2027, you should tell us the algorithm and let us find its weakness and break it to get the key.

    I think that the biggest weakness is revealed when I type on the dark.

    @Madness OK. You may have spotted the È in the ciphertext, which was intentional, and gives you the name of a cipher used a lot through the competition, towards the end. It should be fairly simple to work out what I used, but do refer back to my first post to see where this cipher differs. Once you have done that, I will tell you that you need to find the key, 9 letters long, 3rd and 9th the same. This was used to generate the alphabet using a method described in this case file: https://2020.cipherchallenge.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/standards1.pdf

    Still stuck on the keyword? Just say.

    @F6exb Oh I think I get it now, I thought you were referring to the cipher!

    @Pandarran I think there may be use of a key and a ‘key’ (hinted at in #52994 😉 ). Am I right?
